Painted French armoire
Description:
This lovely french painted mahogany armoire is offered in very good condition.
The armoire has been painted in a farrow and ball white, slightly shabbied and given a clear wax finish.
The armoire comprises of two large mirrored doors with bevelled glass, the doors open to reveal a spacious storage area.
There is a top hanging rail and two fitted drawers to the base.
There is a large canopy with moulded detailing and the base stands on carved escargot feet.
There is some foxing on the mirrored doors, we have tried to photograph the deterioration.
We can replace the mirrors if requested or have them re silvered but most people expect some wear on the mirrors over 100 years and prefer to keep the doors original.
The armoire dismantles for ease of transportation and delivery.
