We are pleased to offer for sale this delightful oil on canvas portrait of two Victorian, possibly Edwardian, children, who appear to be brother and sister by their facial resemblance. The painting is by an unknown artist and has been painted in an oval on a rectangular canvas. The little girl is wearing a pink dress, with a lace frill around the neck and has her long fair hair tied back with a ribbon. Her brother is wearing a soft-collared white shirt.

It is a great shame that the artist did not sign the work, but the painting has been executed by a very good hand and is most pleasing to the eye.

The painting has been newly framed in an ornate gilt Dutch oval frame and is ready to hang.
