Old French Gilt Console or Hall Table

This is a very attractive piece, the table is a hard wood carved with bold scroll and shell decoration, the table is a scalloped shape with a moulded edge to the top and an elaborate crossing stretcher beneath

The age darkened gold finish has a chic shabby opulence, the table is sturdy though some of the decorative carvings are slightly chipped, but with a complex design like this they are not easily seen
The table is 32” high, 43” wide at the back and 18 deep
