Superb oak storage/ blanket box cover in fabulous iron work with original iron carry handles in wonderful untouched condition. It's wonderful three plank top with iron hinges opens to reveal a spacious clean interior with original candle box. There are historic knocks, marks, cracks and scratches as is to be expected with an item of its age, however these only add to the character and charm of this very functional antique coffer. Perfect at the end of your bed for storing extra blanket , pillows etc however with it's gorgeous warm colour and incredible graining why not show it off in the main room.
