Outstanding 18th century solid oak coffer in original untouched condition with original iron carry handles, lock and key. It's wonderful three plank top has breadboard ends with iron hinges which opens to reveal a spacious interior with original candle boxes to each side. There are historic knocks, marks, cracks and scratches as is to be expected, however these only add to the character and charm of this very functional antique coffer. Perfect at the end of your bed for storing extra blanket , pillows etc however with it's gorgeous warm colour and incredible graining why not show it off in the main room as a coffee table.
