Mid 19th century Oak Church lectern,c1850. In traditional form it has a strong gothic appearance with nice carving and panelling to the front and a shelf on the inside. The wood has taken on good colour/patina following years of use. There is a hole in the top shelf which I assume was a holder for a candle? Overall condition is good in line with age and use, with surface wear, marks etc. A useful and decorative piece of furniture. please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me if you would like to view the item or have any questions.
