Beautifully carved vintage writing desk with its original Burgundy leather inset, shabby and faded but not damaged. The top has a carved edge having pull-out slides at each end. The desk consists of central drawer with a crisp carved handle and two single drawers to the left and one double sized, deep, drawer with compartment insert and slide that hides extra storage. All standing on barley twist legs having original castors and united by barley twist H stretcher. Well constructed in solid oak and decorated with carved detailing throughout, which has developed a beautiful colour and patina.
