Oak Carved Desk
Stunning oak carved desk c 1890. This is an exceptional piece with a wonderful and colourful provenance. Being sold by the estate of Russell Thorndike actor and writer. Thorndike was the brother of the famous Ellen Terry actress of Smallhythe, kent. His first love was the pen and following WW1 he devoted himself more and more to writing. Famous for the Dr Syn romantic adventure on Romney marsh.
