Circa 1880, rare and desirable large set of oak and pine library steps. There are five treads with the original carpet covering, worn in sections. At the base is a cross over stretcher and simple square leg finishing on castors. On the left hand side is an extended oak turned and tapering pole finishing with a knob handle at the top. Good width and sturdy.
