Circa 1800, neat sized George III ash bench, with a simple top rail and 6 ribbed slats, and long turned and shaped arms. The seat is stained beech and original clout nails, later squab cushion on top. Below the seat is a large rectangular frame of 4 square tapering legs and stretchers on the sides and back. Front stretcher is missing. Nice piece of provincial antique furniture. Wonderful colour and patination.
