This is an attractive 19th century campaign chest in solid hardwood with brass mounts dating from around 1860. The chest is unusual in that it has really neat proportions. It stands on its original stile feet and inside has its original lidded candlebox in excellent order. The chest has a nice colour and is in very good, original condition. It would make a charming lamp table, bedside, or neat coffee table. Its measurements are 50 cms wide 30 cms deep 40 cms high.
