Narrow early 20th.c. French semainier chest of drawers c.1930. So called because it has seven drawers, one for each day of the week, ideal for clothes, accessories or even filing. Just 24″ wide, original marble top with shaped and moulded edge. Over seven serpentine fronted drawers with symmetrically arranged kingwood veneers and original ormolu handles. Rounded corners and sides also veneered and crossbanded. Shaped apron and legs with ormolu mounts to the feet. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops
