Vintage Kigu 'Concerto' musical powder box musical compacts enamel powder boxes

A delightful and pretty Kigu 'Concerto' made in the 1950s. The satinized teal enamel lid has silver tone leave motifs. The images make the enamel look royal blue but it is teal. The whole musical powder box is in good condition, including the bevelled mirror which gives a perfect reflection. The interior all gilt jeweller's /jeweler's finish & signed 'KIGU' within the registered triangular trademark & 'Concerto'. Turn the key clockwise three times & the adorable tune plays for almost one minute. The music plays really well. The original sifter is in place. Just adorable! The edges are scalloped & the base decorated with an engine turned design of spirals. The base is signed 'KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND'.

This 1950s Kigu ' Concerto' measures 31/4" & weighs 115.8 grams.
