A highly collectible unused vintage Melissa vanity set which would make an ideal 30th / pearl wedding anniversary gift for her. Both items are decorated with mother of pearl. This delightful matching powder compact and lipstick holder are decorated with a gilt lacquered finish which is so durable that it will not tarnish or require cleaning.

The original puff, sifter, instruction leaflet and black felt pouch are present. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The mirror bezel is signed Melissa MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 75 grams.

This compact is ideal for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 67mm diameter.

The lipstick holder is just as appealing as the compact. The base of the lipstick holder will hold all lipstick tubes which measure 15mm diameter or less. The base is fitted with malleable u shaped prongs which can be moved to grasp hold of more slender lipstick tubes. Measures 2 1/4 inches long. Weighs 19.8 grams

The original presentation box is still in very good condition.
