An Enormous, Monumental Scale 19th Century French Walnut Table - Four Metres Long.

This table, constructed in walnut of excellent colour, has a deep, moulded edge and a wide crossbanding to the top. It has a series of elegantly proportioned drawers in the front frieze that retain their original knob handles. Despite its massive size, the table is still extremely elegant and has a very fine colour and patination throughout. Standing on six baluster and ring turned legs with small flattened bun feet.

This would have been produced as a one off commission and it will be all but impossible to find another table of this quality, made to the same size and scale. At some four metres long, this table is absolutely huge and we haven't encountered another table of this type and scale.
