A handsome looking 5 drawer English oak chest with its modernist features and looks, surviving in wonderful condition.

This one tips its beak towards more simple lines and features after the saucy swirling days of early Art Deco with its modest 5 drawer form, faint shadow lines, those great looking almost industrial oak cupped handles and sensible proportions.

It’s enjoyed a day in our workshop so expect a well-toned chest, clean and neat drawers, waxing of runners, no smells and a piece that’s ready to place. No nasty surprises or ugly repairs to this one.

A good looking piece of 1930s British oak antique furniture.

Shipping information

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
