Pocket Watch 1928

A mint NOS silver 0.800 open faced Longines pocket watch in as new condition considering its age. The watch was manufactured by the famous Swiss LONGINES watchmakers in 1928. The all original pocket watch is signed Longines three times: on the dial, on the inside case and on the movement.

Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer red 13-24-hour numbers and outer minute divisions. The dial is clean and free from damage. The dial nice hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial is signed: “Longines” in the upper centre. The dial is protected by original bevelled glass.

Movement: The high-grade Swiss made lever escapement movement is clean and is signed: “Longines” and calibre number: 19.75N and numbered: 4916914. The watch is great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy as it is an antique pocket watch.

Case: The pocket watch lies in a mint silver 0.800 case with an engine turned back and monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case has the Longines original stamp and is hallmarked for silver 0.800 and is numbered: 4916914. The inner side of the cuvette is signed with the same number and silver stamp. The outer side of the cuvette has several medals and is signed: "LONGINES, 9 Grand Prix".
