Mid Victorian tall, 3-section open bookcase


Circa 1870 with alterations. . Surmounted by a moulded cornice and frieze in wonderfully figured golden elm, the bookcase in three sections, each with five adjustable shelves, and deeper shelves more centrally, all flanked and separated by tall pilasters. Supported on a breakfront moulded enclosed plinth base. Attractive and functional in a modern or traditional setting and in perfect condition.
