Mid Victorian figured mahogany open bookcase

Circa 1860 with adaptations. Mid-Victorian, figured mahogany, tall three-section open breakfront bookcase. Surmounted by a classical architectural cornice above a flame mahogany frieze, the three bookcase sections, deeper and more centrally, each with five adjustable shelves and flanked and separated by simple mahogany pilasters, all over a simple fluted base with neat bun feet. Attractive and functional, would suit a traditional or modern house.
