Mid 19th.c. walnut centre table c.1870 reduced in height to make a good looking feature coffee table. Oval top with beautifully figured honey coloured burr walnut veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on solid walnut groundwork. Thumb moulded edge and apron veneered to match. On a turned column and four shaped legs in solid walnut with carved scroll detail. Generally excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. There is quite a bit of old wear to the top, not obvious in colour but rather as impressed scratches and marks in the surface which show up when they catch the light.
