This is a completely original George ll Welsh borders oak hall chair/ side chair. Circa 1740
The chair has a shaped crest rail over a broad shaped central back splat, which connects to a solid oak seat. It is built with traditional pegged construction and sits on straight legs which are united by connecting stretchers. It has a wonderful patina.
