Circa 1860. A large stylish mid Victorian gilded overmantel mirror. The dome topped serpentine sided mirror contained in a wonderful original gilded frame with beadings, flat and concave sections with the original gilding visible, and the marks of the gold leaf where it’s been laid. The frame contains the original mirror plate with some slight foxing on the base, the bottom of the mirror has simple beading and a curved section at the ends.
