A superb quality Poudreuse, the hinged lid finely inlaid with exceptional quality marquetry. The central oval with martial trophies and sheet music, opening to an interior with a mirror, a central well and two lidded compartments. The frieze fitted with a working lock and key over tapered supports, joined by bowed stretchers.
