A good quality Maples & Co. Edwardian flame mahogany and inlaid kneehole desk. The rectangular shaped top having kingwood banding and a green tooled leather writing surface with shaped and moulded edge. The superstructure having 2 small inlaid drawers with shaped shelf and brass galleries. The bow fronted centre drawer flanked either side by three graduated and inlaid drawers all retaining the original best quality cast brass handles. The whole raised on 8 square tapering and inlaid legs with brass castors. This desk is in very good condition and mahogany lined throughout. Dimensions:- Height…46’’/ 117cm. Width…54.’’/ 137cm. Depth…24.5’’/ 62cm. Kneehole Height…25.5’’/ 65cm. Working Height…32.5’’/ 82.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £75 ALL TRADE ENQUIRIES WELCOME.
