This Table Stands Upon Shaped Legs With Fret Work Panels to Either End.
The Top of The Table Being of an Oval Form.

An antique Sutherland table is a type of drop-leaf table that was popular in the Victorian era, named after Harriet Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, the Duchess of Sutherland, a prominent figure in 19th-century Britain.
Key Features of a Sutherland Table:
Drop-leaf design: It has two hinged leaves that can be raised or lowered, allowing the table to be compact when not in use and expanded when needed.
Very narrow when folded: One of its most distinctive features is how slim it becomes when both leaves are down — often just a few inches wide.
