Mid 19th.c. mahognay ‘duchess’ style dressing table c.1860. Original 21″ x 27½” mirror plate within a crossbanded shaped and moulded frame with carved and pierced detail at the top. Angle adjustable on carved supports over a two tier table top with three slim drawers and a low gallery to the raised portion. Shaped and moulded edges to the table top and three larger drawers hidden in the shaped apron below. Raised on cabriole front legs with acanthus leaf and scroll carved detail, shaped and pierced rear legs, joined with a low stretcher shelf on turned bun feet. Some old marks and minor tarnish to the mirror. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
