An antique mahogany dining table with four extra leaves. This very rare 19th Century mahogany pedestal extending dining table has what we can only describe as 'fabulous' quality timbers. When closed it becomes a 54 inch round, at this size one can seat 6 people. There are four all original leaves that will fit onto the table when extended, they are all just excellent quality too. Each leaf is 11 inches wide and the table can be used with various combination of leaf. The pedestal, this splits when opened and there are two beautifully shaped cabriole leg supports that extend out with the oval ends. The centre is supported by a single central pedestal. This is such good quality that it is difficult to lift normally. We will almost certainly have to remove the base for delivery to its new home. This table is really for a decerning antique lover as it will be almost impossible to repeat, certainly at this price as it is fully re French polished to bring out the grain and has a good deep lustre. A truly superb table. The pictures show the table extended, there is one picture of the table with two leaves in place and two that show the table closed. There are chairs available to go with this table if required. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
