magnificent 19th century oak hall stand with two fabulous 17th century panels ( possibly Dutch ) , profusely carved all over, the hat pegs fashioned as rearing lions, the frieze drawer with wonderful carved masks and dragons, large carved turned supports , the seats with cabriole legs and ball and claw feet.
with wear and tear commensurate with age and use, overall this handsome hall stand must be seen to be fully appreciated, it really is a most magnificent and unique piece of antique furniture and possibly the best example we have seen.
