Unusually low early 19th.c French oak coffer or dower chest c.1810. Just 21½” tall with a broad flat (rather than panelled) top – ideal as a stand for a large TV or similar. Very attractive carved detail to the front continued on the legs and sides. Shaped apron and scroll feet. In thick solid oak boards throughout. Lovely colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
