Lillywhites Skis & Poles
A superb and rare pair of wooden Lillywhites of London skis and poles. This original pair are in fantastic condition with the original transportation clamp, protectors and boot fixings. Manufactured by Saur-Wein Bildstein of Austria for Lillywhites sporting goods. The bamboo poles are in excellent condition probably the best we have seen with the leather webbing being all intact. This design of ski is very similar to the Attenhofer wooden skis of the 1930's. Adolf Attenhofer won the Swiss Championship in 1917 while working for Ettinger where he developed skis in the 1930's.
