This is a fine impressive example of a War office "Air Ministry" Writing desk. Constructed in oak which has mellowed over the years and topped with a rich burgundy leather inlay.
The desk has twin under pull out drawers, both have working locks and original key which operates both.
This is a quality piece of furniture ,stamped underneath with the Crown and A.M insignia and dated 1938.
