A very good late Victorian period mahogany writing desk. Decorated with crisply carved blind fretwork to the front , sides and drawer fronts. The superstructure with two pairs of stationary drawers and surmounted by a wavy topped gallery. The main body of the table with a sumptuous green leather writing surface sitting over 2 drawers. All drawers fitted with their original brass handles. All standing on tapering legs terminating in original brass castors. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
