Fabulous quality late 19th.c. adjustable wine table or lamp stand c.1890. 15″ diameter solid mahogany table top with a raised and moulded edge. Height adjustable from 29″- 46″ on a telescopic brass tube which slides up and down within a reeded brass column. On a heavy and beautifully cast iron base with splendid claw feet and original brass castors. Clear maker’s marks on the underside of the base for William Tonks & Sons of Birmingham (stamped WT&S, together with their sunburst logo) plus a registered design number. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
