Splendid late 18th.c. oak seaman’s chest c.1790. Quite unusual being in solid oak. Dome top with long decorative iron strap hinges and ring handle original iron carry handles. With a hinged compartment inside and raised on sleigh feet to keep it away from the damp. Great original character and condition, left dry and unwaxed.
