Circa 1890. A large red walnut breakfront open bookcase. The solid walnut top with moulded foredge and simple frieze, framed by a fine beading, each of the three sections has ribbed pilasters and adjustable shelves. Beneath the base there is a further moulding and the bookcase stands on an enclosed breakfront plinth.
