Large Victorian wind out mahogany dining table
Antique large 'D' end late Victorian wind out extending mahogany dining table.
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character.
Rare style and design.
The table has four extension leaves and a winding handle.
Very solid and strong, with no sag even at full extension.
Recently refinished to a good standard, with only minor knocks and marks since.
Quality 2 stage winding mechanism.
Lovely tapered and fluted legs.
Period winding handle.
No significant woodworm.
The table is heavy, solid and has no loose joints. The table stands on large and impressive legs with period brass castors.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 299cmL (inc. 55cm, 47cm and 2 x 30cm leaves) x 137cmW x 75cmH (62cmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 3 strong able bodied persons for our driver to assist with carrying.
