Large Victorian dining table and dining chairs
A fantastic opportunity to buy an extremely large solid oak late Victorian extending dining table.
This table features a D-end design, with six additional and original leaves allowing this table to extend up to 15ft. The table has removable legs so ease of access is not an issue. It is in lovely condition for its age which we believe is circa 1900. The table would have originally been a large wind out table, but unfortunately, the winding mechanism has been removed and so the table has to be extended manually.
This stunning table is accompanied by a set of sixteen matching dining chairs also made from solid oak. The chair set comprises of fourteen side chairs and two carver chairs. All of the chairs are in good condition for their age, but we do feel that the upholstery work is in a used state due to the nature of the material used, and the chairs would benefit from being re-upholstered. This can be done by our own upholsterer at an additional cost of £65.00 per chair plus the material.
You are more than welcome to come and view the table. An appointment would need to be made as the table is so large it will need to be set up prior to your visit. An exquisite dining set that would complement any period setting.
