An unusual and fine larger than normal foxes head doorstop/porter. Dating to the late 19th century. The head is beautifully cast in brass with a long brass handle simulating a riding whip. The piece retains the original cast iron weighted base stamped Peerage England. Very country house. Circa 1890-1910. Standing an impressive 18" high. 6" deep. 5" wide.
