An impressive Victorian large boardroom or table antique clock by Maple & Co. London. Fine carved walnut case detailing to the front, sides and columns. A brass and silvered dial with subsidiary dials for slow/fast, chime/silent and Westminster chimes/eight bells. A substantial 8-day duration triple fusee mechanism of high quality striking on a rack of bells or gongs depending on setting. A great provenance with presentation plaque to the Rev. Mainwairing of Bournemouth in 1891.
