Large pair of Spanish lamps by "Bondia" of Manises
Spectacular and generously proportioned pair of Spanish ceramic table lamps of a bulbous form adorned with shells and leaves, standing on gilded bases, by the prestigious ceramic house "Bondia" of Manises.
This is a large pair and very rare to find a matching pair in such good condition, as you can imagine with the style of these lamps, they are susceptible to damage so these have obviously been very well looked after over the years.
Great decorative statement pieces and work with both traditional and contemporary shades, such as the pleated silk and also the drum shades I have shown them in. ( both shade examples are 20'' diameter ).
Both in super condition, both have been carefully cleaned and fully re wired and PAT tested.
Priced as the pair and not including the shades, although they are available if required.
Measuring:
34 inches or 86.5 cm to the top of the example shades ( 20” diameter shades )
24 inches or 61 cm to the top of the bulb holder
7 inches or 18 cm diameter bases Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
