Large equestrian painting in oil on canvas by the Spanish artist Ricardo Arenys Galdon (1914-1977) c.1970. Very nearly five feet long. A group of three horses in the foreground with several more in the middle distance. Pictured on a blustery day in a lush green landscape of hills below a dramatic sky. Very confidently painted in an impressionist style. Signed in the lower left hand corner. Presented unframed on the original stretcher. Some minor wear in the lower left portion of the canvas.
