A beautiful piece of Treen, a large scoop turned just like a bowl all the while leaving the section that becomes the handle attached to be finished after by hand. Ingenious I suggest, many were made so good wood turners found a way. I have seen a few and pictures of more but this is far and away the biggest I have seen, truly spectacular. There are two seasoning shakes which were stapled many, many years ago and it has obviously been stabilized since. It may be Welsh or English but found on the English side of the border so described as English for the sake of argument.
