A lovely mahogany tallboy. We date this tallboy to the 1930s.

The tallboy sits on splayed bracket feet.

The tallboy consists of a top cupboard with a removable shelf. The cupboard has two side hinged doors, the right hand side door is fitted with a lock (key is supplied) and the left hand side has a bottom catch. The panel doors have a lovely quarter veneer.

Below there are four graduated drawers, the top drawer is fitted with a lock and decorative drop handles mounted on backplates (no key is supplied, one should be obtainable if required).

The tallboy has a height of 50" (127cm), a width of 33" (84cm) and a depth of 18" (46cm).

This lovely mahogany tallboy remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a bit of wear and indentations to some of the edges and around the feet. There are some light scratches to the top surface from past use. There are some old repairs around the top cupboard lock.

This remains a very stylish and elegant tallboy which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
