A lovely antique oak sideboard. We date this sideboard to the second half of the19th century.

The sideboard is supplied in one section.

The base consists of three side hinged cupboard doors. The left hand cupboard has two linen press drawers, the centre cupboard has a removable mid height shelf and the right hand cupboard has a larger storage area with no shelves.

The sideboard has a large back gallery with a large shelf, the shelf has decorative carved supports.

There are lovely gothic designs throughout which really shows the aesthetic movements catchphrase, “To exist Beautifully”.

The sideboard has an overall height of 50.5" (129cm), a base top height of 25" (63cm), a base width of 54.5" (138cm), and a base depth of 20.5" (52cm).

The top shelf has a depth of 15.5” (39cm).

This lovely oak sideboard remains in good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are minor marks to some edges from past use and the right hand cupboard is missing a bottle drawer.

This remains a stylish and elegant oak sideboard. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
