Large Georgian Red Walnut Corner Cupboard
This item is a good Georgian red walnut corner cupboard. This is a substantial piece of original antique furniture in a rich red walnut with quarter sawn oak linings.
It has a moulded dentil cornice, canted corners and four fielded panelled cupboard doors with a brushing slide between. There are working locks with brass escutcheons on the top and bottom doors and there are keys. The whole piece stands on a base with shaped apron and bracket feet.
The interior is fitted with three small dovetailed drawers, shelves and hooks to the side.
