Offered for sale is this superb Victorian oak dining table extending from 63" x 54" to 187" x 54" with six leaves a comfortable 20 plus seater. The D ended top has a moulded edge and stands on bulbous turned supports with brass and ceramic castors. The table can be used with either four or six legs. It is a pull out table and the extending mechanism works very smoothly. Unusually the table is quarter sawn oak veneered on solid mahogany, a method reserved for fine quality antique furniture. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and is a rich medium brown colour.
