This is a large antique buffet. An English, walnut server or sideboard, dating to the William IV period, circa 1830.
Classic buffet with delicate touches
Displays a desirable aged patina
Select walnut shows fine grain interest
Rich caramel hues beam beneath the wax polish finish
Gallery upper offers a generous serving platform with crown moulding
Pair of inset blind drawers to the fascia, with wide drawer boxes
Fabulous turned balusters supporting the whole
Gadrooned carved detail offers eye-catching decoration
Two cabinet doors to the base with shield-shape field panels
Dressed with a pair of inset brass-lined locks — key present for the right hand lock
