Large 19th C Gilt Bronze French Clock
We are selling this large early 19th Century French decorative bronze and silvered antique clock. It has mercury gilding and a silver coloured dial with silk suspension. The female figure (a queen) stands by a coat of arms with the words enscribed dieu est mon droit (motto British Monarchy and refers to the divie right of onarch to govern).
Working and overall good condition, rubbing to dial and dating to approx 1820.
Height 21 inches, length 17 inches and depth 7 inches.
