Large 10ft Scullery Pine Table

A fantastic large Victorian pine scullery table.
Featuring a two planked top and a drawer to each end, this table stands on turned legs. This lovely original table which dates to circa 1860, would have been used in a large country residence for the preparation of food and various household tasks. It is extremely rare to find a table of this size in such an original condition. We believe that it was painted in the 1930s, in a typical colour for that particular era. The bottom part of the legs have been replaced at some point during its lifetime, as it would have probably been placed on a stone quarry floor.
The table does have some knocks and bangs to the top, but we feel that this adds to the charm and character. It also shows signs of old woodworm which is well and truly dead.
A fantastic piece for any large country kitchen or restaurant.
