Lalique paperweight featuring an Owl ("Chouette") sculpture.
It is a design of René Lalique, originally produced in 1931. This example is from c1970-80. The sculpture is no longer in production.
The base of the weight is engraved "Lalique France", and it retains one of the original Lalique labels to the side of the base.

The base of the weight measures 3 cm (1.2") in diameter. The height is 8.8 cm (3.4").
All measurements are approximate.

The weight is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks.
